Fresh Mixed Microgreens for Home Delivery

This is our simple, everyday microgreen mix for home delivery.

I put this mix together as an easy way to use microgreens at home without having to choose lots of separate varieties. We grow it at Curriott Hill Farm in Crewkerne and harvest it fresh each week.

What’s in the mix?

• Pea shoots: sweet, crisp and fresh.
• Sunflower shoots: juicy, crunchy leaves with a bit more bite.
• Radish: peppery and gives the mix a small kick.
• Onion shoots: a light spring-onion flavour.
• Broccoli: mild, fresh and easy to use with anything.

The amount of each can change slightly from week to week, but those are the five varieties in the mix.

What does it taste like?

It has a fresh, peppery taste with a bit of onion. Add a handful to a sandwich for some crunch. It works well with ham, cheese, egg or chicken.

How to use it

• Add a handful to sandwiches, rolls and wraps.
• Put it on eggs, salads or jacket potatoes.
• Add it to soup, pasta or a cooked meal after cooking so it stays crisp.

Choose your size

• Medium: good for 1–2 people.
• Large: good for around 3 people.
• Extra Large: good for 4–5 people.
• XXL: good for 6–7 people.

Keeping it fresh

Keep the punnet refrigerated. Wash only what you are about to use under cool running water, dry it, then put the rest straight back in the fridge.
