This is a fantastic variety for spring, summer and autumn successional sowing. 

A traditional favourite butterhead, producing medium-sized lettuces with a good flavour and nice crisp texture.

Nothing tastes as good as home-grown lettuce in your salad; so much fresher and tastier.

Did you know?  This lettuce is a good source of antioxidants such as beta-carotene, lutein and vitamin C, as well as vitamin K and folic acid.

How to grow Lettuce All the year around

When

Sow.February-July 

How?

Sowings can be made underglass; sow seeds into pots or trays of seed sowing compost at a temperature of 15-20C and lightly cover seeds with a sprinkling of vermiculite or compost. Alternatively, sow seeds from April thinly along rows 1.5cm deep and 30cm apart direct in the vegetable plot.

Harvest

Pick & enjoy 10-12 weeks after sowing
