PEPPER SEED - " SWEET BEAUTY F1" - 25 SEEDS

Beauty Bell F1 produces large delicious thick-walled square-shaped fruits with great flavour; they start off a dark green and then turn to brilliant red colour. 

Peppers can be grown outside as long as they are planted in a sunny spot, though you can get better results when grown inside a greenhouse/ polytunnel.

They grow sweeter as they become red, so enjoy in a salad or cook them up in your favourite dish or sauce.

Companion planting

plant them along with Basil which helps deter thrips, flies and mosquitoes or parsley, which will attract predatory wasps which feed on aphids

How to grow sweet beauty pepper

Sow.  February - April

How?

Sow seed on the surface of a free-draining compost in pots or trays and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite, and place at a temperature of 18-21°C until seeds germinate.

Prick out the seedlings when they are large enough to handle, into 7cm (3in) pots and grow on under glass.

Once plants reach 10cm (4in) high, transplant them into grow bags or 25cm (10in) pots and grow on under glass.

Feed once a week with tomato fertiliser once the first fruits have set.
