Petunia ‘Hula Hoop Mix’ Seeds – 100 Seeds (Picotee)

A gorgeous mix of compact petunias with bold coloured blooms finished with a crisp white picotee edge. Early to flower and ideal for pots, patio containers, window boxes and hanging baskets, giving a long season of summer colour.

Simple sowing & growing instructions (UK)

1) When to sow (indoors/under cover)
• February to April

2) How to sow
• Use fine seed compost in trays or small pots
• Sow on the surface and DO NOT cover (light helps germination)
• Mist or water gently so seeds don’t wash away
• Cover with a clear lid/bag to keep humidity
• Keep warm: 20–25°C
• Germination: usually 10–21 days (can vary)

3) Prick out / pot on
• Once seedlings are large enough to handle, prick out and pot on individually
• Grow on in bright light; keep just moist (not waterlogged)

4) Plant out
• Harden off for 7–10 days
• Plant outside after the last frost (or into greenhouse baskets earlier)
• Space about 20–25cm apart, or plant into baskets/containers as required

5) Care
• Best in sun or light shade
• Water regularly in containers and feed weekly once flowering starts
• Deadhead to keep plants blooming for longer
